At EBWS, we understand that caring for seniors is a team effort. Through the recent years, we have successfully expanded our services into the community to “help you help others” through educational presentations, discussions, and training/promoting peer support groups. We feel that knowledge and shedding light to common “aging myths” is the key to making sure that our communities, especially our respective circles of influence, view aging as a normal and vibrant part of life. Moreover, it is important that we understand counseling services are meant to increase quality of life, in a respectful and supportive manner, and not to indicate that someone is mentally unstable. If you feel that your local community center, senior center, or religious congregation would benefit by having us talk about Successful Aging and Vitality in Aging®, or any other topic related to the wellbeing of seniors and the people who care for them, please let us know.
